| The CrownTaken over by Pete Malcolm in 1996, The Crown has become known for its excellent food and friendly service. We have moved to sourcing our fresh produce locally wherever possible since the arrival in 2005 of our Head Chef, Nana Akuffo (who had a classical training over 9 years with Anton Edelman at The Savoy). Our varied menu ranges from the simple and expertly made 'Steak and Brakspear ale' pie to more adventurous and modern English dishes and is complemented by an extensive but reasonable wine list with many wines available by the glass. - More |
